Articulate Identity | Progressive Work Environment | Sophisticated Use of Materials
Project Description:
The offices design articulates the identity of the architectural firm - tenant as a growing ambitious design firm.
Key Design Issues:
Designed to accommodate growth and to provide a progressive work environment
Lobby/exhibit area, which is an angular design relative to the tenant corridor in order to capture the north view silhouette of the Chicago Tribune building, across the river. A maple ceiling cloud contrasts staggered dark display panels on which project images are displayed using a suspended cable lighting system
The state-of-the-art conference room is situated off of the lobby and is ideal for use in meetings and presentations
Open principals offices frame the spacious, open design studio space. The library display wall spans the length of the design studio opposite a scenic window wall which creates an egalitarian work environment
Design impact sought through contrast of dark veneers and maple to create an elegant yet cost efficient design solution

Interior Revitalization | Offices | Common Areas | Interior Landscaping | Sustainabllity
Project Description:
The Offices, Library and Lobby Areas are a part of the Revitalization of the Mixed Use Development at 400EAST Club in Chicago. The 400EAST Management Offices are designed in a compact way, at the same time with visual interaction with the public spaces - thus reinforcing the Board requirement for transparency.
Key Design Issues:
Achieve a new image and enhanced use of the spaces
Create a visual draw in an area where newer buildings are the competition for property values.
Use light, transparent materials and organic themes of planting and color as innovative design tools
"NATURE-INDOOR" landscaping elements –were integrated with the transparent resins. Special furniture groupings relating to Midcentury modern style and the use of eco friendly seating selections created more opportunities for interaction and socializing. RADA designs maximized for the penetration of daylight by using translucent resin materials and decorative backlit panels.
